Smartphone enabled locks are the wave of the future, as more and more people are becoming open to the idea of using one. And why not, you would no longer have to bring keys, all you need to bring is a device, that most people cannot leave their home without bringing it. Website Forbes.com shared in its website that the Bluetooth Smart Lock is getting a lot of rave reviews that come with pre-orders.
“So why are folks taking to connected locks? In large part because, like thermostats and connected cameras, they’re easy to understand: you use your smartphone as a key. But also because they represent a huge advantage over traditional locks in that you can send someone a electronic key or monitor who is going in and out of your house.”

CNBC.Com meantime featured the Noke lock which automatically sinks with a Smart Phone application. “The Noke padlock by Fuz uses a signal sent via Bluetooth to your smartphone to secure your valuables, making traditional padlocks and keys a thing of the past.”

Kwikset meantime came up with its own Smart Phone Lock for its door locks. In its website, it said the Kevo can work with or without a Smartphone.
